Primary Care provider shortage is not a new phenomenon. Many solutions have been proposed to close the gap and improve access to care for our rural health populations. Improving student access to rural sites during their medical training improves their attitudes about working in rural health and the likelihood that they will return to practice in these locations. This webinar will serve to discuss student learning opportunities and how to implement student learners into a busy clinical setting. In addition, we will discuss the training differences between Physician Assistant (PA) and Nurse Practitioner (NP).

Erin Lunn, PA-C is a Physician Assistant graduate from the University of South Alabama. She has served in the Army National Guard and Reserves for the last 11 years as a Physician Assistant.
