Undergraduate students consistently report that initially, practicing physicians are the primary source for learning about a career in medicine, above social media, current medical students, health profession advisors  and heath profession organization recruiters. It is therefore critical that these professionals understand the two pathways to becoming a physician in this country, provide the important practice related experiences expected by medical schools in student applications and give accurate guidance on becoming a competitive applicant to medical school or referral to appropriate resources.

Topics

  • Know the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine
  • Describe MD vs DO Training
